Job Title: Microsoft Windows Specialist (3-Month Contract)
The Microsoft Windows Specialist will be responsible for executing the bank-developed automation scripts for the uninstallation of the existing APEX agent and the installation of the new endpoint agent across Microsoft Windows servers and workstations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the bank-developed scripts to uninstall the existing APEX agent and install the new endpoint agent.
- Validate successful agent deployment and ensure systems are functioning as expected after installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system issues that may impact the agent deployment process.
- Investigate deployment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with the Bank’s infrastructure and security teams to ensure timely and successful rollout.
- Maintain deployment status, document issues encountered, and provide regular progress updates.
- Perform deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities during off-business hours, including nights, weekends, and scheduled maintenance windows, as the majority of the Bank’s server maintenance activities are conducted outside normal business hours.
